OUR STAFF
Our highly committed team consists of hands-on management personnel actively involved in the day-to-day running of the services, as well as qualified educators with extensive knowledge and experience in educating and nurturing children in their early learning years.
Our staff is trained in Child Protection, First Aid, and CPR and goes through the Department of Early Learning Background Checks.
Little Explorers Learning Centre (Child Care and Preschool), through its staff, is committed
to the needs and concerns of every parent/guardian. We believe that building
relationships with your child’s teacher is one of the best ways to
stay connected to your child and what he or she is learning.
We value parental/guardian support and encourage open lines of communication
between the classroom and home. The classroom has an open-door policy, allowing parents/guardians to observe and participate with their children. Our teachers and centre staff
are committed to developing strong partnerships with families, especially in
those first few months when everyone is getting used to a new routine and new
friends.
More communication is better. No question is too small, so don’t hesitate to
bring it up! Our teachers and centre staff help families
navigate various issues, including behavioural concerns, transition
difficulties, and social and emotional changes. Because of our beliefs and policies, we believe that teachers, parents/guardians, and children working
together are a winning combination.
Our educators are considered and hired based on the following criteria:
- Early childhood Education and Experience
- Classroom Working Interviews
- Sound personality match with staff and children
- Recommendations from previous supervisors
- Our current staff evaluations
